
God has given us the dream of a people experiencing intimacy with Jesus Christ and being filled with the fullness of
life and power that comes from God. Ephesians 3:17-19
17And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts as you trust in him. May your roots go down
deep into the soil of God’s marvelous love. 18And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people
should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love really is. 19May you experience the love of Christ,
though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that
comes from God.
God has given us the dream of a people worshipping God in spirit and in truth, exalting the name of Jesus Christ.
Matthew 22:37
37Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’
God has given us the dream that “Together…leading others into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ” both
locally and globally. Matthew 28:18-20
18Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given complete authority in heaven and on earth. 19Therefore, go
and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
20Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always,
even to the end of the age.”
God has given us the dream of a people being set free from lifelong fears, shame, false guilt, anxiety and emotional
pain. Romans 12:2
2Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the
way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect
his will really is.
God has given us the dream of a people experiencing freedom from life controlling problems whether they are
substances, behaviors, or relationships. Romans 8:1-3
1So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. 2For the power of the life-giving Spirit has
freed you through Christ Jesus from the power of sin that leads to death. 3The law of Moses could not save us,
because of our sinful nature. But God put into effect a different plan to save us. He sent his own Son in a human
body like ours, except that ours are sinful. God destroyed sin’s control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for
our sins.
God has given us the dream of a people growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ and developing a
passionate spirituality. Matthew 5:3-4
"You're blessed when you're at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule. "You're
blessed when you feel you've lost what is most dear to you. Only then can you be embraced by the One most dear to
you.
God has given us the dream of a people experiencing authentic friendships and relationships in small group
communities. John 13:14-15
14And since I, the Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash each other’s feet. 15I have given
you an example to follow. Do as I have done to you.
God has given us the dream to be a people of excellence and integrity. Colossians 3:17
17And whatever you do or say, let it be as a representative of the Lord Jesus, all the while giving thanks through him
to God the Father.
God has given us the dream of a people having right priorities and being a healthy church family. John 14:15
15“If you love me, obey my commandments.
God has given us the dream where people utilize there gifts, talents, and abilities and have joy in serving one
another. 1 John 4:10-11
10This is real love. It is not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our
sins. 11Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other.
God has given us the dream where people truly enjoy the abundant life…people resting in the forgiveness of God
and experiencing the peace and freedom in Christ. John 10:10
My purpose is to give life in all its fullness.
God has given us the dream where people can discover who they are in Christ and be free to “accept themselves,”
deepening their relationship with God and others. Matthew 22:39
‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
